Buckeye Community Health Plan is excited to announce a new opportunity for women enrolled in our Start Smart for Your Baby® program. During and after your pregnancy, it is important to follow up with your doctor to make sure you and your baby stay healthy.

It is so important that Buckeye has decided to increase the reward for mothers who take special care of themselves and their newborn babies. You now have the chance to earn up to $200 in gift cards. You can earn $100 by going to all prenatal and postpartum visits and following your doctor’s plan of care.

For example, if your doctor wants you to stop smoking while you are pregnant, you stop smoking. If your doctor wants you to follow a certain diet and take certain medications, you follow your diet, or you take your pills as ordered. If your doctor wants you to follow
a certain treatment, you follow the treatment.

If you do all those things and your doctor agrees that you did, you will be eligible to receive $100. If you make sure that your baby attends all well-baby appointments through the first 15 months of life, you will be eligible to receive another $100. All mothers must enroll before their third trimester to be eligible for these gifts.
